Question 3 Scripts

Here are the scripts for my question 3 response as I understand that it can sometimes be difficult to understand Voki and there is often an issue with it cutting out.

Question 3 Part 1

Our initial target audience was teenagers,
 mostly those who have recently finished school
and are going on to pursue careers and such.
This is a mass target audience as students all around
the world are finishing school and will be taking
their steps into the world as an independent adult and will
be facing the issues that go with this.


We do arguably have a second target audience which would
 still be teenagers, however, it would be those who are in the
lower years of school and are undergoing the usual pressure put
on by teachers and being told that what they do in school over
the years they're there will determine how the rest of their life will be,
and the song that we chose may be a way to provide either
reassurance or perhaps a more friendly piece of encouragement for
them to work hard and try their best.

Question 3 Part 2

Our target audience did, to a large extent influence how
we constructed our texts, mainly due to the fact that
we tried to maintain a relatable style whilst still portraying serious
issues throughout. We attempted to attract our audience
 by using elements that the audience would find relatable
 and maintain the same style throughout.
In reflection if I could change something about our task
I would add a more serious element to the issues raised as I personally
feel that they are presented as themes that should be taken lightly
when i don't personally believe that is the case.
